Using the resources available at the Redlist site maintained by the IUCN, make up a table to display

  • the name of each Cinchona species in the database
  • the conservation status of each of the species
  • when that determination was made
  • information on population trends for each species

Given the multitude of uses that people have found for Cinchona bark, why do you think that that the tree is not given more recognition in its native countries? (In Peru, even though it is the official tree of the country, national flags were made showing a fig tree rather than a Cinchona, and very few people noticed this mistake.)
